1What are the passport / visa / entry requirements
For entry into Turkey from the UK with a British passport you must have a valid passport with an expiry date of no less than 6 months from your date of entry.
No visa is needed if your stay is less than 90 days.

2Is the water ok to drink?
The water is completely safe to drink. Everywhere we travel there will be plenty of places to buy cold bottled water along the way.
3How much money do I bring?
A moderate sum to cover lunches, dinner, snacks will be required.
While travelling through Turkey – Euros, British pounds and USA Dollars are accepted in many places however in the more remote areas TL are required.
4What is the overnight accommodation like?
All our overnight accommodation is personally sourced and chosen. The hotels are excellent quality and are clean, comfortable and serve excellent food.
5What is INCLUDED in the tour price?
A fantastic route which has been fully researched to give you the best motorcycling roads, airport transfers, overnight stay in quality hotels including breakfast, Choice of latest model motorbikes (price dependent on size of bike chosen), top cases, motorcycle insurance, all fuel, 24hr road side assistance and detailed route plans and maps and personal guide.

6Can I extend my tour?
Absolutely! If you would like to add on a few days by the coast, visit Turkey’s famous cities, hire a boat/yacht to dive in clear blue seas or view Turkey from the air in a hot air balloon or just kick back and relax, we can arrange it, just ask!
7Do I need a Visa to enter Turkey
British Citizens travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes are able to travel without a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

9Who is the Tour Leader
Armagan Babayigit is the founder and Tour Leader at Turkey Motorbike Tours.
He has been riding for 35 years and ran England’s only motorbike mobile cleaning company Mo-Clean.com. He also had his own motorbike garage in North London so is experienced in fixing anything motorbike!
He has been running motorbike tours in Turkey since 2013 combining his two passions - riding and showing people his native country.
10What documentation do I need to bring with me?
You need to bring your passport, your full motorcycle driving licence and your travel insurance documentation.
11Is it safe to ride in Turkey?
Absolutely! If it wasn’t we wouldn’t take you! The Turkish people are friendly and courteous and are famous for their hospitality.
12Do we ride as a group?
Yes we ride together as a group and never leave anyone behind. Our maximum number of riders per group is 10.
13How difficult are the routes ?
Each tour has a level of difficulty however most of our routes can be ridden by a competent and confident rider. 95% of our routes are tarmac B & C roads.
14Do you need to be an experienced rider?
You just need to be a competent and confident rider of an intermediate level or above. The tours are not suitable for new or less experienced riders.
15Is this tour suitable for pillion riders?
YES! 95% of our routes are on tarmac roads. We have designed our routes to allow for plenty of rest, coffee and photo stops. There are many attractions to see along the way and we take the time to visit them.
16How are women riders perceived?
The same as the male riders! It is completely safe for women to ride in Turkey and we have had many female riders on our tours.
17What motorbike clothing do I need to bring?
A motorbike crash helmet must be worn when riding to comply with Turkish law and you MUST bring your own.
You will also need proper protective rainproof motorcycle jackets, trousers, boots and gloves. During the summer an airflow style jacket can be more comfortable and during the colder months an inner fleece style body warmer is recommended for under your jacket.
18How much luggage should I bring?
If you are coming to Turkey only for a motorcycle tour, you need very little luggage. Apart from your motorcycle clothing, you will only need some casual clothes for the evenings and non-riding days. Turkey is very informal and you should pack what you are most comfortable with and then half it!
On our tours each bike normally has a top box and you can bring your own dry bag to attach to the bike so your luggage needs to fit in these!
If there are two people on one bike (rider & pillion) we can provide side panniers.
If you are continuing your holiday or travelling elsewhere after your motorbike tour and have extra luggage, we can arrange for this to be stored safely at our bike hire company or our hotel in Antalya for the duration of your motorbike tour.
19What distances do we cover each day and do we have rest days?
Please see the specific tour itinerary for information on daily mileage and rest days for each tour. The route is designed and mileages calculated to accommodate terrain, climate, temperature, and points of interest. Adequate time is provided to relax, take photos and enjoy.
Turkey Motorbike Tours reserves the right to alter the route as conditions prevail to accommodate changes in political environment, weather, terrain and physical condition of participants.
The leader’s decision is final.
Any information provided by Turkey Motorbike Tours on such matters as road conditions, distance, hazards, terrain, climate, etc is given in good faith but without any responsibility whatsoever on the part of Turkey Motorbike Tours.
20What if I have a serious accident or become ill?
At Turkey Motorbike Tours your well-being and safety is our primary concern. In the unlikely event that something serious does happen, we will make sure you receive the necessary medical attention ASAP. Our guide is bi-lingual and is First Aid trained.
We highly recommend you have proper travel insurance to cover any necessary expenses / repatriation to your home country just in case.
21What happens to the group should an accident/illness happen as described above?
No one is left behind. We deal with such incidents as a group and everyone is expected to accept this. Our tour guide will make arrangements as necessary and keep everyone informed each step of the way.
22Will I have access to ATM’s or banks to withdraw cash on the tour?
Money is easily obtained at most ATM machines, banks or currency exchange offices. Travellers cheques can be exchanged at most banks. The New Turkish Lira (YTL) is the currency used in Turkey. Credit cards are widely accepted.

25What if I have to cancel and cannot join the motorbike tour?
It is advised that you purchase travel insurance to cover any cancellations, injury, etc.
If you cancel your booking following confirmation, Turkey Motorbike Tours Ltd reserves the right to withhold the deposit/tour payment in part or full for costs incurred on the following scale:
More than 90 days: Full refund minus a £60 admin fee
89 to 60 days: Loss of deposit
59 to 31 days: 50% of tour price
30 days or less: No refund
All Cancellations must be received via email and sent to: info@turkeymotorbiketours.co.uk
Once the tour has commenced, if for any reason a participant decides to leave the tour before the end he/she will not be refunded. Turkey Motorbike Tours Ltd will not be responsible for any associated costs incurred.
26What if Turkey Motorbike Tours cancels the tour?
Turkey Motorbike Tours Ltd reserves the right, in any circumstances, to cancel your booking and we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. However, this would only become necessary in exceptional circumstances as we want to ride on the tour as much as you!
We reserve the right to cancel the tour should the minimum number of persons stipulated within the tour details not be met or some unforeseen circumstances outside of our control happen.
In the very rare occasion we cancel the tour, we will
a) Offer you an alternative tour of equal or greater value or: b) offer you a FULL refund.
Turkey Motorbike Tours Ltd will not be held responsible or offer a refund or compensation in any of the following situations: terrorist activity, war, threat of war, civil strife, riots, natural or nuclear disasters, industrial disputes, climate changes, unavoidable technical problems with transport or acts of god.
27Do I need holiday/travel insurance?
YES! It is a condition of our motorbike tour that you have FULL travel insurance including medical insurance, repatriation, and cancellation cover and your policy includes riding a motorbike. You need to bring a copy of your insurance with you. More than likely you won’t need it but its better to have it in your pocket as back up if necessary.
28What is the food like in Turkey?
Turkish cuisine is famous for its rich and bold flavors, often using spices, herbs, and fresh ingredients to enhance dishes.

The food is always cooked fresh and offers an excellent variety of meat and vegetarian dishes.
If you have any dietary requirements please let us know and we will make sure your needs are accommodated during the tour.
