SOUTH TO NORTH Black Sea tour.

Black Sea Tour Itinerary 2023
Day 1  
After arriving at Antalya airport, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. Once at the hotel, you get to meet the other bikers and our bike tour leader.  We will have a tour briefing where you’ll find out everything you need to know about riding in Turkey.  

Day 2 Antalya to Alanya  133 KM  
After breakfast at our hotel, we will go to pick up the motorbikes and fill in all the necessary paperwork.  Once that’s done, our tour starts with a half day riding to Alanya. On the way we will be stopping in Side to have a little walk and drink by the sea side cafe shop.  Our hotel is by the sea with a stunning view of Alanya. We will have a free evening to explore.
   
Day 3 Alanya to Silifke  306 KM  
We depart our hotel at 9am and ride towards the mountains. We will be riding on lots of twisty mountain roads and roads beside rivers and lakes. We will be stopping at a cafe shop for a tea break. After our stop we carry on riding towards a lake. There are bendy roads and the scenery is amazing. We will have a lunch stop again in mountains. After our lunch we will be heading towards our sea side hotel. We will be going to sea food restaurant by the sea for dinner.  

Day 4 Silifke to Urgup  373 KM  
After breakfast we will be heading towards Kiz Kulesi and then ride towards Aladag National Park.  We will be riding again lots of twisty roads. Our lunch stop will be at Trout fish farm. After our tasty food we will heading towards Cappadocia where we will be staying for 2 days. Our hotel is a Boutique cave hotel, all rooms are built in caves and it’s an amazing experience.  We will have a free evening. There is a restaurant just 5 min away from our hotel. The restaurant is built within one of the caves and the food is delicious.  

Day 5 Free day No riding
There is a lot to see and do in Cappadocia. You can ride in a hot air balloon at sunrise, explore the caves, chill out in our amazing hotel or you can try a Turkish bath (Hamam) in town. The town centre is only a 10 min walk from our hotel. Other option is to go to Goreme and visit the Cappadocia museum.  

Day 6 Urgup to Sivas 360 KM
We leave our hotel towards Uchisar Castle. After a short ride we will be visiting this cave castle. Our stop around 45 min and walking shoes is recommended to climb to the top of the castle through caves. The view is amazing from the top. After our visit we will carry on riding. Our Lunch break is on our way to Sivas in a small town. After Lunch will be riding towards our hotel in Sivas Zara. Our hotel has got Turkish bath and Sauna so you can relax.  

Day 7 Sivas to Erzincan 325 KM
We will be riding towards one of the most challenging roads. We will ride through man made tunnels. It will feel like we will be riding in caves. The road is non tarmac and running alongside a big river at the bottom of the canyon. We will stop for photos. It’s a steep hill and we’ll be riding on the cliffs edge so it will be important to be extra careful.  After this amazing road we will be going to a little village where you can see very old traditional houses. Our lunch will be in this town. After our lunch we will be riding towards Erzincan where the city is built over 1200 meters above sea level. We will have a free evening to relax and enjoy. Our hotel has an indoor swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath to enjoy after a day’s riding.  

Day 8 Erzincan to Trabzon 269 km
After our breakfast we will be riding towards the Black Sea. We will be stopping at one of the most famous monasteries in Turkey. Its built in the mountain on the rock face. It is over 1000 meters above sea level.  It’s a Greek Orthodox Monastery built in AD386.  We will spend time here to explore this stunning place. After our visit to the Monastery, we will be riding to Trabzon where we will stay for a night. Our hotel is by the Black sea and our room will have a sea view.  

Day 9 Trabzon to Amasya 429 KM
Today we will ride the longest distance on our tour towards Ordu by the Black Sea. After Ordu we will head inland to the mountains and very picturesque roads. Lots of bendy roads and riding in the forest. Our lunch break will by the Black Sea. After lunch, we ride towards the mountains to Amasya where one of the biggest rivers run through the city centre. It is one of the oldest cities and its dated AD 4000. You can see the old king tombs in this city.  

Day 10 Amasya to Sinop 252 KM
We will have a short ride today to get to the Black Sea coast riding towards Sinop. After our challenging ride, we will arrive in Sinop early to relax and rest. Our Hotel will be by the sea and has a swimming pool. We can rest and relax in our hotel or walk to the city.  

Day 11 Sinop to Amasra 319 KM
Today we will ride all day beside the Black Sea coast. It’s a coastal road and the roads are very twisty. It’s an amazing road to ride and beautiful views of the Black Sea. Probably today we will have more bendy and twisty roads than before so get ready for the challenge. Amasra is our destination and it’s a very pretty seaside town by the Black Sea coast. We will have a free evening to enjoy and explore this town. There are plenty of sea food restaurants to pick form so we will enjoy a nice dinner after a long day riding.  

Day 12 Amasra to Haymana 374 km
We leave the Black Sea behind and ride towards Ankara. We will stop along the road for tea and coffee. After we will have our lunch by a road side restaurant. Plenty of food to choose from.  After a nice lunch we ride to our spa hotel in Haymana. After check in we will enjoy the natural hot water in our spa hotel. You can swim or have a Turkish bath and just relax. Our dinner is at our hotel so no rush.  

Day 13 Haymana to Antalya 426 KM
We will ride back to Antalya where the tour started. Heading towards Egirdir Lake and have a lunch by the lake or in the town centre in a Kebab restaurant. After our lunch we will ride towards a canyon and also through the apple fields. We will have another stop by a different lake just before we finish our tour in Antalya. After the last break we will ride to our bike hire shop. After the usual checks, we return our bikes and head to our hotel in Antalya. We will have a party to celebrate our amazing bike tour experience!    

Day 14 Antalya
